Historic Haunted Scoville Hotel

The Scoville Hotel is a three story building that was originally built for Dabney H. Scoville in 1905. The Hotel is located on Mitchell Street in an area known as “hotel row”. The Scoville operated as a hotel until 2001. Since then, it has been used for film projects such as the Rolling Stones video “Rain Fall Down” and various movies including RoboCop III. The Walking Dead has filmed scenes just outside the Hotel doors.

For the first time since closing, the Hotel is now offering private paranormal investigations. All participants must be at least 18 years of age. SIPR and the Scoville do not condone rituals sometimes related to ghost hunting procedures including the use of ouija boards. Anyone practicing unapproved rituals will be immediately escorted off the property.

Proceeds will go toward historic preservation and renovation.
